Setup

Connected in 30 seconds.

01

Add Tickr

Paste tickrapp.ai/api/mcp as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or run one command in Claude Code or Cursor.

02

Sign in when it asks

Your AI opens a Tickr sign-in. Apple, Google or email, then Allow. No keys, nothing to copy.

03

Just ask

Your assistant calls Tickr whenever a question needs it. Revoke the link anytime.

How it works

Your AI asks. Tickr computes. You decide.

Assistants can read the web, but they can't compute an option's fair value, a stock's IV-crush history or where dealers are positioned. Tickr does that work and hands back the answer.

01 · You

Ask your AI

"Before I buy these calls, anything I'm missing?"

02 · Tickr

Computes the answer

Live chains, fair value, earnings history, dealer positioning, catalysts. A verdict with reasons.

03 · Then

It keeps watching

Ask it to set an alert and Tickr's 24/7 engine pings your phone when it fires.

Built for day traders

From the pre-market to the close.

Your assistant becomes a research desk that keeps up with the session: it pulls today's levels, reads the tape and checks your order, all from one conversation.

4:00 – 9:30

Pre-market

Premarket high and low, gaps, prior-day levels and anything on today's calendar.

"What's gapping with news this morning?"
9:30 – 10:30

The open

Opening-range breaks, VWAP, time-of-day relative volume, and a scan for names doing all three.

"Large caps above VWAP on 2x volume."
Midday

Positioning

Gamma call and put walls, the zero-gamma flip, the implied move to Friday and unusual options flow.

"Where are the walls on SPY right now?"
Every order

The check

Before you send it: fair value, what the spread costs you, liquidity and earnings risk. Then set the alert.

"Is 2.45 a fair price for the NVDA 240 calls?"
Answers, not tables

Most market-data connectors hand your AI a firehose.

A hundred raw endpoints means your assistant has to guess which one to call, then interpret thousands of rows. Tickr's tools do the analysis first and return what matters.

FAQ

Questions

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants call outside tools. Connecting Tickr gives your assistant Tickr's tools; it decides when to use them based on what you ask.

Which apps work?

Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT (connectors in developer mode), Cursor, and any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP.

Is it real-time enough for day trading?

Prices come from a live fair-value feed that updates about once a second, for stocks and options. Intraday indicators (VWAP, opening range, relative volume, RSI) are computed from minute bars, and options positioning from the live chain. Every answer says what it's based on.

Is it included in my plan?

Yes. Tickr MCP is included with Tickr Premium, including trials. Create your link from Account → Connect your AI (MCP) in the web app.

How do credits work?

Tickr MCP uses the same daily credits as Tickr's in-app AI: 100 a day on Premium, resetting at midnight UTC. A question costs 1 credit and covers up to 8 data lookups. Tickr's own AI reports cost more: 5 credits for a company report or sector view, 3 for an earnings call summary. Alerts and watchlist changes are free. Your balance is in Account → Connect your AI (MCP).

What does Tickr see?

Only the tool calls your assistant makes: the tool name, its inputs (like a ticker) and timing, logged for usage limits. Tickr never sees the rest of your conversation.

Can it place trades?

No. Tickr analyses, flags and alerts. Orders stay with you and your broker.

Is this financial advice?

No. Tickr provides data, risk flags and clearly labelled AI analysis so you can make your own decisions.

Don't trade before checking Tickr.
