We collect what we need to run Tickr: your account, the stocks and alerts you set up, how you use the app, and, only if you choose to connect one, read-only data from your brokerage. We never see your brokerage password, we never sell your personal information, and you can delete your account from Settings at any time.
This Privacy Policy explains how Roma Nova LLC, a California company ("Tickr," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Tickr mobile app, the Tickr web app at tickrapp.ai/app, our website, and related services, including the Tickr connector for AI assistants (together, the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Tickr is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not ask for your age or date of birth, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you are under 18, please use Tickr with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us at contact@tickrapp.ai.
Tickr can show your real holdings if you choose to link a brokerage account. Linking is optional and handled by regulated connection providers (for example, Plaid). You sign in to your brokerage through the provider, so we never receive or store your brokerage username or password.
When you link an account we receive read-only information such as account names, positions, balances, and transaction history. The access tokens that let us refresh this data are encrypted at rest. Tickr does not place trades, move money, or hold funds. You can disconnect a linked account at any time in the app, and you can also revoke access through your brokerage or the connection provider.
Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple, and subscriptions purchased on the web are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to them; we never see or store your full payment card number. We receive your plan, purchase and renewal dates, and subscription status so we can unlock the features you paid for.
When you use Tickr AI, the content needed to answer your request (your message, relevant conversation history, any images you attach, and relevant market data) is sent to our AI provider, currently OpenAI, to generate the response. We do not include your password or brokerage credentials. Images attached to AI chats are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.

Market data shown in Tickr comes from third-party data providers. We do not send them your personal information.
We keep your information for as long as your account is open and as needed to provide the Service. Images attached to AI chats are deleted after 90 days. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging.
When you delete your account in Settings, we immediately delete your account, profile, sign-in methods, sessions, and subscription status. To have every other record tied to your account removed (such as AI chat history and usage records), email contact@tickrapp.ai from your account email and we will do so within 30 days. We may keep records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase records, and copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
California and other state residents. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to access and receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information. Our use of advertising measurement tools may be considered "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email contact@tickrapp.ai from your account email so we can verify it is you. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of your authorization.
We use encryption in transit, encrypt brokerage access tokens at rest, store passwords only as secure hashes, and limit access to personal information to people who need it to run the Service. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Tickr is operated from, and stores information in, the United States. If you use Tickr from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
